I was going over the Tyranid codex and looked at the potential of a Broodlord dominated Genestealer armies.

Forget the Genestealers themselves, its all about the Broodlord.

If you can get the Iron Arm Biomancy ability to roll on the chart when exchanging its power, the Broodlord gets downright scary.

An average roll turns a decent 3 wound model into a 7 Strength, 7 Toughness monster that can eat Lascannons and Missile Launchers for breakfast. If he also taps a Catalyst from a Tervigon, he also adds Feel No Pain on top of that, shrugging off those lascannons and missiles with a 5+ roll, or using his minions as a meat shield before he enters combat.

Even if it does not get Iron Arm, all of Biomancy looks good.

What do others think about the potential?

The potential is there, but random. I guess it's something we'll have to get used to in randomhammer.

The good news is is that even if you get a less desired power, it still is effective in some way.

Broodlords get a 33% to get iron arm thanks to having 2 psyker powers. Most of the other abilities within Biomancy still pack a punch, even if you do not get the desired one.

Broodlord? you must not have ever had a Hive Tyrant with Biomancy. Nothing is better than a T9 flying monstrous creature that can steal life back on it's turns. for Broodlords I'd go Telekinesis and hope for gate of infinity, telekine dome, or OM.
