I see less AV11 in my area, and more foot slogging.

That said, I forsee a golden age of Heavy Bolters. Maybe just stick with devs and get some sternguard to keep with theme?

Heavy bolters rock my face lately. I run 4 squads of Thousand Sons on foot and a friend constantly busts out the heavy bolters.

Your tactical terminators with powerfists are 100% awesome and you should keep them throughout this entire edition.

I don't see the purpose of your space wolves detachment. Roll on Divination with the priest, and stick him with fangs? If you have him strictly for psychic defense, let me tell you... That is great. It makes me grind my teeth knowing wolves are now the only ones that can straight up nullify from 24".

hey

thats pretty much spot on. i have the tac, scouts and grey hunters to squat on objectives and defend, the terminators and longfangs to do the bulk of my hitting and the wolf priest to be psychic defense. the stormtalon is to deal with pesky flyers and sneak into peoples back armor if they dont have them, since he can turbo-boost 36"

thanks for the input

So Im guessing that this is more of an Imperial fist/space wolf... instead of crimson fists... That point aside the list looks pretty solid.

Well, im painting as crimson fists because painting 2 company's of marines in yellow and having it not look like crap seemed way too daunting. and i've finished my first tactical squad and im pleased with the decision, so im just gunna field lysander as a crimson fist.

Thanks

I'm not a fan of foot slogging terminator assault squads. If you are going to be walking, go with tactical terminators (which you are) I'd drop them and use the points to bump your tac terms to a full 10 man squad and pick up some extras.

How are your troops going to get to objectives outside your deployment zone? I'd grab a few rhinos. At the very least they will give your opponent something to shoot AV stuff at besides your talon.

I see no reason to have allies in this list. I know they might be more efficient, but they don't do anything that your own chapter can't do. Cherry picking units from other codexes will make your list more powerful, but slightly cheesy. In my view at least, not sure what the feeling is at your FLGS. Swap them for a librarian, tac squad, and a dev squad.
