I've 2 flyers that will swoop first turn and then glide 2nd turn to get into combat (Tyrants)
2 Flyers that will fly around, shooting and Vector Striking targets (Harpies)

I've 2 Monstourous Creatures on the ground from turn 1 making their way across whilst the enemy is sidetracked by the 4 fmc's in their deployment zone. (trygons)
I've another 2 mc's spitting out little baby Nids to claim, contest or even tarpit units (tervigons)

And in case the enemy deploy some Light skimmers against me i cannot catch, i've got my Hive Guard to destroy them seeing as they ignore the Jink save !

I'd like a shooting attack on the flyrants and AG/TS on the tervigons but can't see where you can drop points to pay for it. Hmmm.

I'd also like a 3rd hive guard brood in there. If you run flyers I think that you maybe need the 4 - so the only optional units in the list are the trygons. I'd maybe lose one/both and upgrade flyrant (maybe with OA), tervigon, get a 3rd hive guard brood, maybe some gargoyles in that 3rd FA slot.

The list works better at 2k or 1999+1 I think as you're skinning yourself a little at 1,850 with 4 FMCs however you cut up the remaining points.

I think everyone is going a bit all out on these flyers.
So far all i've seen in action is a solo vendetta, so i've not had the experience of seeing many in action yet, and while they do sound pretty good I just think they are boring.


Can't fault your tactics really, MCs are hard to take down. Trygons walking it is perhaps not the best idea, depends how distracted the opponent really is by your flying creatures.
And like ruminator said, this list will work better at a slightly higher points game. Another squad of Hive Guard would really help.

I'm taking the 8 mc's because in 5th when i ran a 5 mc list it was hard to deal with then.

So now with 2 spawners, 2 closecombat mean soabs, 2 flyers that will land on my turn 2 (or my turn 1 depending on how close the enemy came) and 2 Flyers that will be flying around Vector Striking things to take them out.

I think the list will be REALLY hard to take out in my own opinon.
