I'm not finding where it specifies whether or not I can choose powers from different disciplines, like if I ran an Epistolary, FateWeaver, or Tzeentch Sorcerer, etc.
That is, could I have a Pyrokenetic and a Biomancy psy-power (given my army's restrictions, yeah, yeah) ?
Could someone cite a page, column & paragraph?

In fact, sometimes the decision for which discipline I choose next depends upon the power I get the first time around. For example, if I get Gate of Infinity, I might try to roll on Pyromancy to get Molten Beam.

The FAQ for each army specifies what psykers can choose rulebook powers and from which disciplines.
