Hi all

I am starting a new painting project, this time working on a GW Orc Warboss.

Here are the pictures of the mini fully assembled with a completed base.

The base was built up with plasticard (also known as styrene) as well as miliput, random bits of elecreonic junk, a pile of tiny watch pieces that can be purchased from here: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/westonwatchstraps/m.html?_nkw=cogs&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313

I also used a couple of plastic sculls, part of an old model airoplane, (the tip of a wing) as well as one of the really nice Secret Weapon resin bone field bases which can be purchased from here: http://www.secretweaponminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=79_30_60&products_id=246

Thats all I have done so far, If you have any suggestions or general feedback feel free to eave a comment

,James

That's quite a base you've built up. I think it will look great after a lick of paint. I'm a bit worried about the model prep for the boss, himself, though. While a lot of the junk appears to be styrene curls from scraping, which could be knocked off with a stiff brush, I'm still seeing mold lines here and there (underside of the gun, wrist wrappings, inside edges of bosspole, shoota handle, etc.) that could use some more attention, especially since the base suggests that this will be a display piece. The shoota's barrels would look much better drilled out, too.

That is a pretty impressive base there. So much little detail to it, i'm sure once its all finished it'll look great.
