I like it very much. The only thing I can suggest is that the lighting on the hammer is too prominent. I'd thin down the lines and make them abit more jaggy instead of curves?

Looks really nice, however I would agree with Slipstream in that the lighting is too stark.

I like the stark lightening! It makes it appear more powerful as opposed to dull

I think it looks great and I love the lightning on the hammer and shield.
To finish it off, I think you should add some writing detail to the purity seal. If you can't paint that small detail of writing, cheat and use a very fine tip pen.
Oh, and great highlighting. Unlike some others I have seen, the highlighting is not overdone, thank you!

thunder hammer looks really good! overall I think it's pretty dapper!

highlihgting looks good, the only thing I have to say is the mud on the boots looks awfully grey/like the color of the rhino door he just ripped off

the texture of the mud behind the door looks very good and I think would look good transferred onto his boots more/where he has treat onto the door

I think it looks good, I hope when I finally get to painting I can get to that level. I wouldn't change a thing on your painting style. I like the lighting on the hammer, looks very good.

I really like the hammer, and really like the paint job. The only thing that looks "off" about it, is that it looks like the paint almost has a "gritty" texture... know what I mean? How'd you paint it? Did you use a spray primer on it?

Yah this looks awesome. The hammer head looks real good! Did you wet blend it? Or just later the colors? I layered my first attempt and they came out more choppy than yours.

The hammer is just built up through the colours, i blended the each colour into the previous by thinning the edge of the colour and using a push pull technique. Until the white which i did as a sharp contrast.

I like all of this so far, but with one exception.
The grass just looks so cartoony green! Do you have any different grass to use?
Everything else though is good, including the bits on the bases.
And how did you get that brilliant white on the helmets? White is so difficult for me.

I have very old static grass which is now more of a yellow.

I primed the helmets white separate to the models and then by just thinning down the white to almost a milky thickness and then layering it up, can take 5-6 layers to get it really white (along with being very repeative). Then jut blue wash thinned to give the blue shade, which i find enhances the whiteness of the surrounding white.

Im sure there are better ways of painting white but that's how i do it.

thanks for the tip.

It might just be me, but I'd look for some better grass.
