I heard that this is going to be possible. Has it been done?

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

Currently, there is no way to use a Baneblade in a standard game. This does not of course include supplemental material (i.e. Battle Missions) or home-brewed campaigns.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Any apocalypse model is able to be in a standard game, but you need to have your opponent's permission to use it.

It was part of a 6th ed rumor that was proven to be completely untrue. Now if you and your opponent agree to it for friendly games that's a whole different story but you can't force them to let you use it. Most tournaments will say no to including baneblades in an army.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!

To say it can be used with opponents permission is a bit superfluous.

"Can I use a Coke can as a S10 MC with 8 attacks?"

Sure, if you have your opponents permission...

We can do anything with opponents permission, so to say something is allowed that way doesn't really add anything.

*shrug* I just say that because the apoc book decided it was important to specifically say that.

I was just attempting to point out that if he really wants to field it he can always talk to his opponent.
