I have wanted to do a firepower based Ork army (ie how they used to be) for a while now and 6th seems to cater to firepower based infantry armies so it looks like as good a time as any to start painting.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

I like the shooty Ork Lists potential in 6th but not sure that the Bikerz, Kommandoes or the Big Mek with the KFF really fit what you are going for.

The Kommandoes are now I think one of the weaker choices for the Orks now so not sure I would use them. For thos same points you could get for instance 8 Tankbustas with nob that would give you 9 more Rokkits that seem to fit your theme a bit better.

The Big Mek and KFF is not needed really in the new edition and giving him a SAG instead might fit your style list better.

The Bikerz are okay and can be a favorite but for around those same points you could add another 3 Deffkoptas or one of the Dakkajets.

Anyways just some thoughts, overall I think the list should do okay and could be fun to play.

I was considering Tankbustas, the first iteration of this list had a full unit, but I'm not sure how effective they will be given their cost and low BS and that I have reasonable anti tank areadly, I could replace the Kommandos with 7 Tankbustas but do I really need the extra rokkits? The Kommandos (and warbikes) are there as a distraction who can do a lot of damage if ignored but I have no issues with swapping out the Kommandos as to be honest they don't really fit the theme.

The KFF is there to give my expensive units more survivability, its hasn't actually changed in 6th for infantry at least, but I would like to include a SAG if I was running a second Big Mek.
