So haven't been able to play a single game of 6th so have not seen if this mechanic is ingame and not sure if I read it in the new book.

With an AP value now given to melee weapons, do attacks from them also bump up the damage done on the chart?

So a power axe on a SW would be ap2. When attacking and if damaging a vehicle in assault, does it add +1 to the damage chart like a ranged weapon with ap2?

If you are jumping on the Dinobot meme bandwagon regarding the new Warhammer 40k Chaos models, grow the feth up!

Geesh!

That makes chainfists practically overkill and power axes a fairly reliable transport killer!

Is that in the rulebook under melee, ranged, or armor pentration for vehicles?

Just under the rules for AP. It is a general rule, so you would have to find why they WOULDNT alter the damage chart.

It essentially makes the damage table (almost) identical to 5th edition, so it's no more overkill than it used to be.
