After seeing the new daemons models i thought it might be time to start the daemons army ive always fancied,

What im wondering is, Is their any units i should avoid/defenatey have?

What kind of things are most competitive?

You can use anything really, I think only beasts of nurgle are uncompetative. Some units like Bloodletters, Daemonettes, Seekers need large numbers to work, but otherwise just go for what pleases you, dont know how good Chariots are i imagine they have their roles.

Fate weaver, 3 Daemon Princes, 2 squads of flamers and 3 squads of horrors... Just kills everything.

Fateweaver has a 3++ rerollable save, daemon princes have 4++ rerollable save if they're within 6" of him

The problem with that chicken is that if he does take a wound he needs to pass a Ld or run off the table like, well like a chicken. And he has the lowest Ld in the codex, "low at 9" I don't like using him as I know Ill take one really lucky laspistol wound and lose 333 points before I am able to make use of him. But he is very tough to wound and even harder to get rid of if he is flying.

for a 2k list one of my friends allied in IG and then had Fate Weaver, 2 Daemon Princes and Lord of Change all flying with breath of chaos, along with 4 squads of 3 flamers.
Tables me every time no matter how much I change my list to adapt... it hurts so bad.
(IG are troop squads btw and like 1 or 2 command squads mainly for shooting and holding objectives)
