here is the situation, i had an Overlord with a squad, during the shooting phase i suffered almost complete distruction, only 2 models left alive, one being the Overlord the other just a warrior, failed moral check...
was 2" away from the table edge,
so i was distroyed. how would i resolve EL?
i checked the book and it says "removed as casulty" but would i stand back up and still need to attempt a moral check next turn? or not beable to even roll in the first place?

If you moved the EL model off the table due to falling back then no EL . if he died before you fell back and the marker was placed on the table then you get to roll .

El only works if the model was on the table when killed ,destroyed and such

If the EL model was destroyed on the field, he would roll at the end of the phase to return to play. If the EL model was routed off the field from a failed morale check, he would be gone.

The Overlord would still be a part of the unit when you took that Morale test and ran off the edge, therefore he runs with the last warrior. That's it - no Everliving comes into play. Note that you can't place the counter anywhere on the board because that's not where the Lord "fell". Even if you could make an argument for making the roll, he would be off the board and so immediately removed from play again.
