I feel like I'm a little light on the armor. This will mainly be for killing MEQs as that's generally what I encounter but with the option of dealing with hordes.
I'd quite like a commissar but this comes out at 1495pts so there's not enough room for me to blob the las squads together, unless I remove the GLs.

Any feedback will be much appreciated (:

Drop forward sentries and fist as those points could be better spent. Give the second platoon's PCS 4 flamers and the squad GL. Give the PCS another plasma gun. Put krak grenades somewhere if you have more points.

Yes, but they are still squishy even with forward sentries. +1 cover save really isn't going to save you as when are you going to drop them out the vendetta into cover (they would need to take dangerous terrain). Not to mention the fact that you will probably kill your own plasmas at some point.

Would it maybe be better to move both plasmas into chimeras and drop the meltas out the vendetta for an all-or-nothing against heavy enemy armour?

Plasmas in chimeras do work, so yes and dropping meltas from vendettas is in my opinion the only way to use them
