Kabalite Conscript

I figured I may as well post a proper introduction here, so here we are. I started wargaming back in 2008 when a buddy and I split the Black Reach starter set and each began our descents into madness. He grabbed the Space Marines and I took the Orks (despite wanting to play Dark Eldar (I just couldn't bring myself to pick up such oddly proportioned models)). Over time I perfected the art of painting green skin and leopard print pants on my Orks and sought a new challenge in painting something more uniform. I chose the Blood Angels (because they're red, that means they go faster) and set out to learn how to paint power armor. While building my noble, blood thirsty angels of death I felt a stroke of inspiration: Why not convert Dark Elves models into Dark Eldar? I began laying plans for conversions and had most of the army plotted out when the first rumors of the 5th ed codex hit (this also happened when I started on my Blood Angels oddly enough). I felt a mix of joy and bitterness and waited patiently for a look at the new models. When I got my first glance of the Kabalite Warriors, I was in love. I started building my fleet and have yet to stop (mostly due to not having the time to get everything finished yet).

I've been lurking around Dakka for a bit now, but never posted anything in the past; I guess I never had much to say. I do plan on starting a project log of my continuing adventures of building my Dark Eldar corsair fleet with allied Craftworlders as well as my future Night Lords warband with Mechanicum allies (Necron counts-as). I'll start those when time allows me.

Iron Warriors Army: Enyo Company
Enyo (Greek: Ενυώ, English translation: "warlike" in Greek mythology; Roman: Bellona), was an ancient goddess of war, acting as a counterpart and companion to the war god Ares. She is also identified as his sister, and daughter of Zeus and Hera in a role closely resembling that of Eris; with Homer in particular representing the two as the same goddess. As goddess of war, Enyo is responsible for orchestrating the destruction of cities

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
