If you can take double Plasmagun in 6th Ed, it's a good idea to try it.

It adds more killy for the Nurgle Tally.

I'd take Two Nurgle Prince with Nurgle's Rot over non-Nurgle Terminators.

I agree with Brometheus that Plasmas are more useful now than ever. I would take 2 Plasmas on your Plague Marines over Meltas any day.

Everything in the list is nurgle including termies. And plasma can't hurt av 13/14 effectively. And a couple Meltas can't hurt and this gives me more durable all comer feel. I felt for 40 point 5 termies will out do the dp any day

It's easy enough to test: Throw a mock squad of various things up against your 5 Termies, and then up against your Daemon Prince. Try a Squad of 10 Assault Marines, a Squad of 5 Deathwing Terminators, a Dreadnought, etc, whatever you can think of, and record the results. Should give you a pretty good idea which unit wins back its points in kills, and how many combats it takes to do it.

I think that the most competitive ally that would compete very well with nurgle are orks since they are allies of desperation and people that ally nurgle with orks generally take gretchin to make it easier to get higher on the tally.

I agree, take 2 nurgle princes. The Plague Hulk is awesome for its troop killing, but for the same points a Decimator can do more and be MUCH more versatile.

I completely agree with the statement about the decimator but at this point I think that I will be stuck with cutting the plague hulk and blight drone as we hit unexpected issues.
