Hello everyone. My names is Dwight and I am addicted to 40k...
Bad AA meeting joke.... Sorry.

Anyway. I'm a Space Marines player and I've been collecting now for almost a year and playing now for almost a seven months..
I've always wanted to play, even as a kid, but I was never in a position where the cash was right to immerse myself into this hobby. That issue has been corrected and I am a happy player. I play with a small group of guys that I dragged to a comic shop by their scrotum (Even though we still play 5th edition. We all just learned it all to the point where we don't need to run for the rule book every turn and we don't really want to change over to 6th edition yet because we don't play at venues or the local comic shop or anything.)

As of now I have over 5000 points of my space marines army. Pictures are soon to come. I am currently painting my existing force because I don't want to get anymore models until I finish what I have. I'd hate to get pushed back with 10000 unpainted points.
I am planning to assemble and painted 1st, 2nd and 5th company in entirety and add a small section of the armory; probably 3000 points worth with land raiders and razorbacks designated to certain HQ and whatnot. My total count comes out to 15300 points for what I wish to complete and I have a third of that so I think I am doing pretty well.

See you guys later, I'll be around.

Welcome to Dakka, Dwight.
That sounds like a pretty impressive force you've got there.
I look forward to seeing the pictures.
