I have three questions about the Storm Eagle:

#1: What does it count as? It looks as if it could Zoom/Hover due to it's engines but the actual PDF from Forgeworld does not cover this (that I can find). How would it be played?

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Downloads/Product/PDF/s/Stormeagle.pdf

#2: Do you guys think this is too much to play in friendly games? I do not play in a tournament scene and while fielding it "well" would run around 325 points the guy's I've talked to in the group seem like they have "reluctantly said yes" to it.

#3: This may fall under tactics, but for the "first options" what do you think would be best? I'm leaning towards the Typhoon Launcher.

Flyer, Hover, Transport
Has the Assault Vehicle, Power of the Machine Spirit and Deep Strike special rules. CSM version does not have PotMS.

I personally don't think it is too much, especially as a lot of Forgeworld stuff is overpriced. That and I like the Forgeworld stuff.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Volguus Zildrohar, Gozer the Traveler, and Lord of the Sebouillia

Aeronautica has trhe current rules for it. If it isnt in the "VEHICLES" download from forgeworld, where they errata their older stuff to fit 6th, then we cannot really give you rules here

Stormeagles are very, very expensive

Thanks everyone for your help!

For future reference the entry is entirely the same (I have a friend with the book). So the entry off the FW website that does not have HP is accurate, just add 4 HP in.
