I wanted to try out an Imperial Guard ally, as having a couple dozen meatshields with small laser guns felt like a fun idea.
I made this list to test just that, but a limitation of 1500pts got in my way so I couldn't afford tanks for the IG :(
Without further ado, here's the list:
Space Wolves + Imperial Guard:
Hq:
1. Wolf Lord - Frost Axe, Runic Armor. Will lead Grey Hunter Squad nr.3. (145pts.)
2. Rune Priest (Force Stave)- TDA, Combi-Plasma (125pts.)
Troops:
1. Grey Hunter Squad(9) - Plasmagun, Standard, Rhino(195pts.)
2. Grey Hunter Squad(9) - Plasmagun, Standard, Rhino(195pts.)
3. Grey Hunter Squad(5) - Meltagun, Power Axe, Standard, Razor(Twin-Las)(180pts.)
Elites:
1.Wolf Guard Squad(4) - 2x TDA (2x Wolf Claw, Frost Axe), Power Fist, Frost Axe, Combi-Plasma
Terminators go w/ Rune Priest and others are split into squad leaders. Grey Hunter Squad nr.1 is led by
a Wolf Guard w/ Fist and Combi-Plasma.Grey Hunter Squad nr.2 is led by a Wolf Guard w/ Frost Axe.(162pts.)
1002pts.
Allies:
Hq:
Company Command Squad - Chimera w/ Multi-Laser, (177pts.)
1. Company Commander
2. 3 Veterans w/ Plasmaguns
3. Veteran w/ Vox Caster
Troops:
Infantry Platoon:
Platoon Command Squad - Chimera w/ Multi-Laser (98pts.)
1. Platoon Commander
2. Guardsman w/ Vox Caster
3. 3 Guardsmen w/ Plasmaguns
Infantry Squad - Plasmagun, Vox Caster (70pts.)
Infantry Squad - Plasmagun, Commissar (100pts.)
Infantry Squad - Plasmagun, Auto-Cannon (75pts.)
Infantry Squads = cannon fodder
Overall: 1500pts.

Hi, a couple of things.
LlamaAgility wrote:1. Wolf Lord - Frost Axe, Runic Armor. Will lead Grey Hunter Squad nr.3. (145pts.)
I'd probably drop him, he's not really fast enough and his squads just going to get targetted by a lot of shooting.
Few things on this guy. First off, his Runic Weapon doesn't count as a Force Stave. Because it wounds Daemons on a 2+ it counts as an unusual Force Weapon. Additionally, which psychic powers are you thinking of giving him? I'd personally go with JOTWW and Living Lightning. Also, you might want to give him a Chooser of the Slain.

2. Grey Hunter Squad(9) - Plasmagun, Standard, Rhino(195pts.)
Drop the Rhinos, I tried using them to see how they were after 6th and they don't really do much for you.
LlamaAgility wrote:3. Grey Hunter Squad(5) - Meltagun, Power Axe, Standard, Razor(Twin-Las)(180pts.)
Drop the Laserback, it's too fragile and so will be destroyed before it has enough shooting phases to get good use out of it.

I'd rework these, simply take 3 in Terminator Armour and then split them all up to go in Grey Hunter squads, then put them at the front of the unit to soak up wounds. Then you can put the Rune Priest in one of the Grey Hunter squads instead.
LlamaAgility wrote:Company Command Squad - Chimera w/ Multi-Laser, (177pts.)

Looks good.

Good again, but I'd drop the Autocannon if you are going to be moving the platoon in front of your marines as a meat shield.
If you choose to make these changes you should get quite a lot of points out of it. I'd then spend those points on a Manticore, a Vendetta, and/or a few packs of Long Fangs with Missile Launchers.
Hope this is useful.

Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated. I'll see if I get my hands on some cheap IG models, before I start making big changes to these lists.

I can only comment on the IG allies, 6 plasma guns, an AC and 2X chimeras are not much of a threat for guard. It look like you have 500 points for ig? It also seems like the 2 chimeras are the only tanks you will be fielding, correct me if I am wrong or missed something. They are simply easy squishy targets.
Are you planning on combining the IS's? That would make the most sense, but if so why not try to squeeze in more AC's or drop them all together.
If you are going for a mobile IG force try something like this:
CCS-4X PG, Chimera
PCS-2X PG, AC, Chimera
IS- PG, AC, Chimera
IS- PG, AC, Chimera
Exactly 500 pts
Or for a footslogging force:
CCS-3X PG, Company Standard
PCS-2X PG, AC
IS- MB, PG, AC
IS- MB, PG, AC
IS- MB, PG, AC
IS- MB, PG, AC
Also 500
Just some food for thought, IG can pack a ton in 500 points

UMGuy has some great recommendations. Ditch the voxes. 10pts for a reroll isn't really worth it.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

It is but you are required to have one in the unit issuing the order as well as the unit receiving the order for a total of 10 points.
