This is my standard 3k Empire list, so far does pretty well in the local meta. Total of 10 drops, and Im trying to break away from life/shadow spam, but combating those as well (beasts helps me combat life, light beats shadow...). Also, thanks to 3 LOS's and wizard sniping every turn, this has trounced the Ogre gutstar of doom...

General tactics tend to be a counter-charge strategy, the three cannons are there to pound targets into oblivion, archer detachments as redirectors/anti regen shooting (with soulfire), pistoliers are both redirectors/marchblockers and WM hunters, as is the Pegi Captain.

Its a fun list, and potential for hitting on a 3+/2+, with rerolls, and buffed by beasts can be horrendous.

Any ideas for changes/criticsms, id love to hear them...

On to the list: I like it, a lot. The only beef I have with it is the swordsmen. 20 are not going to do anything. May as well switch to halberds for that many guys (I personally use 40 swordsmen but every empire player sees differently).

I take it you run the swords as a wizard bunker, otherwise they aren't going to cut it.

Tried 40 swords, and survivable enough, but nowhere near as offensive. 20 is a wizard bunker, alternatively they can make for a decent flanking/anti-flanker unit. I used to run the 20 as a detachment, but didnt make 25% in core then. Suppose I could and make up the points with command upgrades...
