Finished painting a terminator in a new colour scheme. Considering creating a new chapter, as i'm sick of Ultramarnes. Haven't got any names or anything yet though. anyway hope you like. Going back to uni tomorrow so probably won't be able to touch Warhammer again for about a year :(

Thanks guys. I'm pretty proud of him. He is about a head taller than a usual termie and I think it looks natural still and gives the character loads of posture. Also I like the split colour scheme. I think i'm going to go with a Medieval-ish theme. Just got to think of a name... And then make every marine and termie slightly bigger.

He almost looks like a French knight! Well done sir.

Great execution, personally I'd make the red lighter and the blue darker but that's just my taste in colours.

Thanks guys, this was my first attempt at OSL and its pretty darn hard. I think that part still needs some work but for my first time i think its pretty good! I like the french comment, possibly because i have a brettonian army too. I didn't want to go any darker with the blue because ive had enough of painting ultramarines

I really like the knightly color scheme. Reminds me of a French Knight, as previously stated. I would make the blue a little darker, but that is my personal taste. It will make the glowing sword stand out more I think.

So quick question, what colour in Dakka's opinion should i paint the terminator helmets. Obviously this guy doesn't have one but for the others. I was just thinking the bone colour that i have been using. I don't know if the scheme could take another new colour.

Very cool! I'm always impressed by someone attempting a split colour scheme, even more so when it looks that good!

I think that is a good idea. A solid white or cream color to go with the little cross/star accents would certainly look good. Failing that, I would do blue with red eyes or red with blue eyes, but it might be a little bit too similar in color.

I'm not sure I like the blue/red thing you have going on, but you did a great job painting them.

Painted up another Termie in the squad. I'm going back to uni today so thought i'd share because i wont be doing anything until Christmas. Painted to helmet in bone as i didn't want to add another colour.
