I would take the sniper rifles off the command squad as their garbage.

4 plasmas is better.

Seems pretty solid but you should take more antitank than jokeros. Just seems low on AT shots. I know there are meltas but a benefit of playing Coteaz/IG is all the meltas you get!

good, I recommend taking divination powers

dunno much on IG but snipers do suck lol, and I think OOTF is the one that give the opponent -1 reserves right? I just dont think its worth it too much. I say drop him and try to get plasmas

Troops: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband, 227 pts
3x Inquisitorial Servitor w/ Plasma Cannon, 2x Jokaero Weaponsmith
3x Warrior Acolyte w/ Plasma gun
1 Inquisitorial Chimera
dunno about the 3 plasmagunners, they either wont be firing much cause of range or would be taking the spot of the cannons or joks. I say just give them bolters so they take up wounds (bolter rounds off their points nicely and makes them have some ranged power cheaply

Troops: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband, 195 pts
2x Jokaero Weaponsmith, 10 Warrior Acolyte w/ Storm Bolters
1 Inquisitorial Chimera

way too many acolytes IMHO, drop a few or maybe give these guys a few special weapons (like plasma or melta)

Troops: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband, 164
4x Crusader w/ Power Axe, 6 Death Cult Assassin w/Power Sword and Maul
1 Warrior Acolyte w/ Meltagun (IN STORMRAVEN)[u]

great loadouts , though I like going 50/50 with my crusaders and DCAs and the meltagunner is a nice little add on (though IMHO the storm raven MM is good enough)

Troops: 10x Veteran Squad, 130
Meltagun x3, Demolitions (IN VENDETTA)[u]
demo is the bombs right? looks good to me, though I really like carapace armour instead/ontop though that'd cost alot

Fast Attack: Vendetta Gunship, 130 pts

Fast Attack: Stormraven Gunship, 255 pts
Multi-melta, Psybolt Ammunition, Hurricane Bolters

Fast Attack: Stormraven Gunship, 255 pts
Multi-melta, Psybolt Ammunition, Hurricane Bolters
IMHO hurricanebolters and psybolt ammo are pretty bad on ravens, psyammo costs too much and hurricane bolters are better on LR's, I'd drop them and with the 50pts each get plasmas on the CCS and some more antitank, maybe more long range antitank like psyriflemen dreads or those heavy weapon squads with 3 autocannons (coteaz making them reroll to hit with divination )

I think Storm Ravens as a delivery mechanism for these guys is a poor idea - the S10 hit on a crash and losing your flyer protection when you hover instead of zoom makes it difficult to effectively use them.

Overall, I would rather see (for these points) Land Raiders in the Heavy slot with these guys put in there. It also puts you on the board Turn 1, rather than having to wait for reserves.

@ Icelord, Thanks, let me know if you think the new list is better.

@ BewareOfTom, Thanks for the good advice. I've made some changes based on your recommendations: 1) dropped the plasma acolytes from the Corteaz's squad and replaced with bullet catchers, 2) added 3x plasma warriors to each of the shooty warbands, 3) added more long range antitank in the form of 2x psyriflemen dreads.

@ calypso2ts, I thought that shadow skies could be used by zooming storm ravens. Since this isn't supported by the FAQ it seems, I have removed the ravens and associated squads.

I have heavily revised the list to the point that it is almost a new list. Please continue to share your thoughts. Revised list added to OP.

So you would rather a flyer zoom off in an odd direction or off the table? I do my best to manipulate when my flyers come on, usually its round 2, so playing it your way I get shots on rounds 2, 4, an maybe 6 if the game goes that long. Why would I pay the points for maybe 3 rounds of shooting if it doesn't come in until turn 3 you are stuck with 2 rounds of shooting.

If you are afraid to lose it on by going into hover mode you shouldn't be taking it IMO. An on top of that you send the flyer at the most serious threat to it, other flyers, a quad gun, dev squads and rifleman dreads, and if you haven't been able to diminish that anti air power especially after dumping off troops to help destroy that anti air power, than you prolly shouldn't be taking flyers.

an 4 Hull points or no hull points Land Raiders still die to drop pod melta or melta in general. I loved seeing my Vindicare kill a Land Raider.

To be honest, flyers in hover mode are going to get smoked. The ability to force the enemy to hit on 6's adds a lot of survivability. Without the shadow skies/skies of blood/grav chute thingy working while zooming, I don't think transports like the storm raven will find a place in my lists-at least not as a carrier.

Ok so--any thoughts on the new list??

HQ: 1 Inquisitor Coteaz, (100 pts) goes with plasma cannon henchmen
good, hopefully he has divination

HQ: 1 Ordo Malleus Inquisitor, (25 pts) goes with heavy bolter servitors in a bolstered ruin near home objective
dont really see this guy being worth it unless he becomes psyker with divination

(IRON HANDS) HQ: 1 Master of the Forge, (100 pts) drops with tac squad
doesnt he come standard with power weapon? if so maybe maul? and if you have the points maybe combi melta or flamer

Troops: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband (216 pts)
2x Jokaero Weaponsmith, 10x Warrior Acolyte, w/ 7x Storm Bolter, 3x Plasma gun
1 Inquisitorial Chimera, 55 pts
alright, maybe buy carapace just for plasmagunners incase of gets hot and to make sure they stay alive

Troops: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband (214 pts)
2x Jokaero Weaponsmith, 10x Warrior Acolyte w/ 1x Bolter, 7x Storm Bolter, 3x Plasma gun
1 Inquisitorial Chimera, 55 pts
see above, maybe to get points for carapace on plasma change more SB into bolters? (and I assume you mean 6x SBs)

Troops: Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband (200 pts)
2x Jokaero Weaponsmith, 3x Inquisitorial Servitor w/ 3x Plasma Cannon, 3x Warrior Acolyte w/ Boltgun x3
1 Inquisitorial Chimera, 55 pts
looks good to me , if you ever get pts though I'd change acolytes into crusaders just for added defense

Troops: 1 Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband (30 pts)
3 Inquisitorial Servitor w/ Heavy Bolter
maybe for acolyte squads change them to 1 jok each and put the 2 here (or just 1 and use points elsewhere)

(IRON HANDS) Troops: 10x Tactical Squad w/ 1x Meltagun, 1x Multimelta (210 pts)
Drop Pod, 35 pts
looking good

(IRON HANDS) Heavy Support: 1 Ironclad Dreadnought (200 pts) Drops in Turn 1
w/ 2x Hunter-Killer Missiles, Meltagun, Heavy Flamer
1 Drop Pod

(IRON HANDS) Elite: 1 Ironclad Dreadnought (200 pts) Drops in Turn 1
w/ 2x Hunter-Killer Missiles, Meltagun, Heavy Flamer
1 Drop Pod
dunno about the HKM but I can see it helping for a alpha strike thing

Heavy Support: 1 Nemesis Dreadknight (235 pts)
w/ Personal Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator

Heavy Support: 1 Dreadnought (135 pts)
w/ Psybolt Ammunition, 2x Twin-Linked Autocannon

Heavy Support: 1 Dreadnought (135 pts)
w/ Psybolt Ammunition, 2x Twin-Linked Autocannon
this is good! all good

IMHO just a few things I'd do personally but this is good as-it

I have half a mind to kill you, and the other half agrees
