If you're running 5 with Ghazzy you should load them up in a BW and keep that KFF near by.

If you're breaking them down into smaller squads of 3 I'd put them in a Trukk, or 1 in a Trukk one in a BW.

Personally I find more than 3 MANZ is just crazy overkill so 2 smaller mobz is my choice.

They're more survivable (since there are 2 targets).

They have a greater threat range from the Trukk's movement (and the super forgiving Trukk destruction table).

You have more versatility since you can assault 2 targets.

Most importantly you're less likely to wipe the squad they assault in the turn they launch an assault, which means you're not getting shot in the subsequent shooting phase.

Wow those are nice!
I've not tried this myself but you can slap in a truck and have them come on board turn 2 moving flat out towards a juice Target.

The rule I use for my manz is this....

squads 5 + warboss can take a trukk... but hold it in reserve like mentioned because naturally when it counts you'll deploy first opponent seize and blow your trukk up before it moves... Never ceases to amaze me... then of course it won't ramshackle forward... but naturally directly away from the enemy... or at least that is my luck lol

I usually run 6 manz and a mega boss, and put them in a wagon with another wagon nearby full of 20 boyz. that way if manz ride crashes and burns they hop ship to other wagon and let boys walk/run

If you are playing above 2k and have 2 FOCs... can really have fun and do multiple small units of mega nobs... Have 5 in a trukk w/ 1 boss, 5 in a trukk w/ boss 2, 9 in a wagon w/ boss 3, 9 in a wagon with KFF mek/mad dok/4th boss etc

Just always really need to have a HQ with bosspole with the meganobs to keep them in line.

Like others have mentioned, 3 Manz is typically enough to wipe a whole tac squad in 1 game turn, without the warboss attacking... Having 5+ in a squad becomes overkill when fighting things like that.. but you'll be happy when fighting large blobs of DC / TH/SS termies etc.... Hell a wraithlord could wipe a squad of 3 before they get to swing or any MC/dreadnaught etc.. thats my only beef with small squad sizes of the fellars

I am going to go with ghaz and nobs in a truck and reserve them. the hope is that they come in turn 2 with a couple of planes to give them target overload.

You really shouldn't put Ghaz and your MANz in one squad. Ask yourself how many units will survive Ghaz but not five additional MANz?
How many units will survive five MANz but not an additional Ghazgkhull Thrakka hitting them?

The list will be shockingly short.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

guard blobs.
guants
35 man cultist squads
yep short list

he is with the meganobz for the ride. he can peel off at any time and charge something else.
turn 2 or when they arrive: zoom up board in truck
turn 3: get out of truck and charge. ghaz can get out on the other side of the truck and charge something else.

Or the paper thin trukk gets shot to ribbons and now Ghaz AND your MANz are walking around hoping someone is nice enough to charge them. Im with Jidmah, put Ghaz somewhere else. Im sure youll have some boyz standing around, or Burnaboyz possibly. Hell stick some Lootas and Ghaz in a BW and go crazy, then the BW can shoot like crazy, the Lootas can shoot like crazy, and Ghaz can hammer fist anything on the table.
