I wanna stand half a chance with this list so any suggestions are welcome! models are limited but can be bought

Farseer, fortune, guide, spirit stones and runes of warding 140pts

Guardians x 10 with scatter laser, warlock with embolden 125pts

Rangers x 5 95pts

Wraithlord with Sword and Brightlance 140pts

500pts on the dot

plan is stay in cover as much as possible and keep all the untis together to benefit from the farseers powers, hit the enemy at range til they come close then its down the wraithlord and them and hes a beast at 500pts level as most people cringe when they hear toughness 8

Ah, the Eldar 500 point quandry. Lots of options, and IMO lots of effective builds. MC saturation works as qballony suggested. I use a mini Jetbike/Mechspam @ 500. It really depends on the build you wanna grow to.

I would choose 1 power at 500 points for your Farseer probably guide or doom (in your case Doom, you don't have any pivotal shooting units really), as the extra points are best spent on more units/extra bodies. Unit saturation is key at the 500 pt level, you want as many models on the board as you can really milk out of the list. make him 70ish points, and use the extra 45 points for more troops, better troops, or a third unit, like a Vyper. The Embolden Warlock is nice for buffing the Farseers powers, but I might even still drop him for more points for that extra unit. Again, the Wraithsword may be better spent towards a 2nd gun, as he's not likely to reach assault, and if he does he'll fare fine without it. Just my 2 cents.

Past armies 4500 pts, 4000 pts 2000 pts
current armies Space Marines 4000 pts, Eldar 3000 pts

I second double guns on wraithlords. If they make it to CC, re rolling their attacks will not change much, they either smash their target to pieces or get owned.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
