Last year I posted
a request on here advertising a skydive I performed for a charity known as
IT Skills for Rural Kenya. The support I gained from this site was overwhelming, and I exceeded my donation expections by a huge margin from a number of very generous users, to whom I was very grateful (or greatful, whichever is the correct spelling!)
Now however I need your help again: Plymouth University, the institution which I attend, is participating in the 2013 Hitch event organised by the charity Link Community Development, which aims to improve education standards in several African nations, including Uganda, Ethiopita and South Africa.
Here is a link to their site for those who are interested. The event involves a 9-day trek from Plymouth in England, to Morocco, near the fringe of the Sahara Desert, most of which will be done by hitch-hiking through France and Spain. For this I need to raise a minimum amount of £375 which will go to Link, along with any Gift Aid raised from the total. I have already raised £50 from the family but I still have a long way to go.
If you would like to donate towards the cause, I have established a Virgin Money Giving account
here which you can donate to. Wherever it's a penny or $10 (which is about £10 thanks to Mr. Brown), all donations are appreciated. If you do choose to donate, I will need a
PM of your address for the sponsorship forms. All details will be kept confidentially and will be deleted immediatly afterwards.
If you do wish to donate then just click on the link above.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and your help is greatly appreciated.
