One of the best Super hero MMO's that I've ever played, and my first that I played on, the game will be missed.


I'd like to go on record as putting it out there that NC Soft is a Gak company, with a record of gakking all over the games that they put out.

They gave a half arsed reply as to the closing, but it did nothing to shut down the ongoing Gak storm that they have accomplished. If anything, they only Peeved off more people.

Always sad to see a game go. Regardless of how few people actually played it, most often there were still some who truly loved it - many times because it was so different from the rest.

Do give Champions Online a try, though. It's made by the same studio, after all.

As the other thread has over a month since the last post, and this one references it now has a closing date on November 30th in the title, this one will do fine.

For those with characters, or an interest on seeing the game somehow resurface, this site is of use.

This thread in particular is of special interest as they have designed a character save tool. You do as suggested in the thread and you get a copy of each of your characters in a save file to store on your PC, in case they can get it going again.
