I ran into a group of these miniatures, but I don't know what they are. What I do know is it's from RAFM early 90s. They look like Space Marine Terminators but wrong company. Any help someone could give would be great! Thanks!

It looks like Darth Vader had a kid with Emperor Zerg.

It is a terrible model either way.

Oh I've got several of them with all kinds of bits so I'm sure it's there. RAFM is just a miniature company like Ral Partha.

It might be an acronym, but I've never seen it spelled out what they stand for

they're a really old canadian company from back when Ral Partha & Grenadier were around

theyre still active

The legs and torso don't look that bad (can't say the same about the feet, head, arms and missile launcher). I can't tell scale from the picture, but it could have some conversion potential, assuming you had tools strong enough to rip the offending bits off of the salvageable sections..

RAFM means cool Cthuhlu minis and a pretty sweet modern warfare vs the Eldritch horrors... thing.

They also have the Space:1889 guys, and some really good stuff in thier other lines. A little dated, but they have the charm still.

Between them and Black Cat Bases, you can't go wrong for Cthuhlu guys.

That particular guy is something like a "Titan" robot for thier "15MM Sci Fi" miniatures line. Yeah, that guy is supposed to be a battle suit with a guy in it.

(Someone might want to tell them that from those pictures, those guys look a little bigger then 15mm.)

Here he is in the flesh- 2nd row down.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Keep in mind you're looking at model from 20+ years ago.

To be fair we'd have to compare it to a GW offering from the same time period.

Meh - Given the time it was made, it's not bad except for the head.

I'm more interested on what it's standing on.

Too bad they dont do the small scale gunboats, like from Sky Galleons of Mars and Cloudships & Gunboats...which are very similar to Space 1889.

Its integral metal base?
These didn't use slottabases - for the Shia Khan space goblins, the reaction marines, the rest of that range.
