Hey all,

I've come to finish off a project I started some time ago and unfortunately it uses copious amounts of GW's old chestnut ink, of which I have about 5mm left in a single pot (in one of the hex pots like this). I've tried Coat d'arms version but it's not remotely similar, can anybody suggest something that I can use, or know if this ink is being sold still (under a different company/name)?

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

Liquitex does a chestnut ink lookalike, yes, the coat d'arms stuff is the ancient ancient hexagonal pot (pre boltershell pot) chestnut wash, sadly.

It looks very similar but I myself have never used it so no idea how it comes off the brush etc.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.
