after surviving hurricane sandy , just wanted to post some pics of the war store weekend . had a great time i arrived there saturday and rand two games . one game of black powder featuring my zulu minature collection and that nite i ran my starship troopers mega battle . which was a blast !!! a lot of great game going on , and some impressive armies and tournaments ! heavy gear , 40k , flames of war , infintiy and warmachine . great times . i would have stayed later if it wasn't been for that damn storm . enjoy the pics and hope every one effected by the storm is ok and recovers quickly !

Can anyone tell how the infantry were made?

The army was put together by Alex Cauldwell. The same person who had true scale ultramarine terminators about 6-7 years ago.

I don't remember everything, but IIRC, the legs are Cadians, torsos from command or tank sprue, weapons he cast, and I don't remember the heads.

He designed the "Chimeras" and had someone else cast them.

A really sweet army that will look even better when he is done painting it

That IG army looks great, especially with the Hind conversion.

starship troopers was always a blast . its easy to play . im going to stream line the rules even more for even bigger games . its always epic when your fighting hordes of bugs....

All the armies look great BUT that Soviet IG army is fantastic! What an incredible job on conversions and painting!
