1. No. It is a separate unit and choice. Terminators anyway scoring, see Implacable Advance.
2. What surprises you? In the books of
40k and
HH there are many apothecaries in the
TDA.
3. yes and also Assault Vehicle.
Sorry I should have explained some of my reasoning in the
op.
1. I was inclined to agree with you but the Rite of Battle only specifies Veteran or Terminator Squads, not the specific Legion Terminator Squad. There are three separate squads in the book which are "Terminator Squads". Legion, Justaerin and Deathshroud.
I know they're all scoring but I want to build a full Justaerin detachment without the need for a pair of Legion Terminators.
2. I was pretty sure this was ok, but this is the one time I can remember which allows a Terminator to take a pistol (Needle Pistol). I thought it odd.
3. This is a very interesting entry. I think I'll have to construct a few of these at the cost they're a bit of a steal.
1. Wording:
Veteran and TerminatOr squads are Troops choices in the force, and units of eilher of these types must be selecled as the force's compulsory Troops selections.
Veteran squad - p 194
TerminatOr squad - p 196
In addition to those found in the Crusade army list, the Sons of Horus Legion has particular access to
two
additional units:
Justaerin Terminator Squads and Dreadclaw Drop Pods. Justaerin Terminator squads may
be chosen as Elite options for a Sons of Horus Space Marine Legion force, or replace Command squads,
while the Dreadclaw Drop Pod is a Dedicated Transport.
I see no legitimate reason to put them in troop choice.
2.Similarly librarian replaces his sword to force weapon.
There is an example of a terminator with a pistol - Njal.
3. By the way, note that in the version for
HH there is no rule that mandates enter play via deep strike. Compare with the rules from Imperial Armour Aereonautica.
