I got a commission from my friend to model and paint a Black Templar Master of Sanctity in a terminator armor and wielding a storm shield, and adamantine mantle. The choise was easy when picking up the model. The only thing was that i needed to switch the power mace from the left hand into the right, so i could get the storm shield into the left hand. Also added a flag pole with a custom sculpted Black templar insignia. The only thing i am not 100% happy about is the cloak on the back. After some thinking, the small cloak is ok, as it will not hide loads of the detail at the backside of the model. The customer is a friend, and we planned the conversions over this model for some time, so i'm sure he will be happy about the result. Now i'm off to paint the bugger

Yeah, I agree, the cape looks a little weird on him like that. I would almost make one outa green stuff. Use that one as a mould, then just bend the green stuff to fit him a little bit better. Otherwise It looks awesome! cant wait till i see it finished!

My friend (the customer) was happy with the cloak, so I let it stay the way it was. After painting it doesn't look that bad actually. The whole model came out looking really nice. One of my best paint jobs to date actually It's funny how some money makes you do your best on a paint job

Here are the finished model pics. The base is not done, as my customer requested i leave it undone so he can make it match the rest of his army.

I was sweating on that conversion, but was able to use a pin that went through the hand to secure the bits quite easily. Then just filled the odd spaces with green stuff and it came out quite well. It's unnoticeable when you look at the model now that it's painted. Well atleast if not using a magnifying glass

A decent model all round.

I disagree with what most are saying. Now painted, the Cape works in my opinion. The paint job is excellent and I love the custom working on the pole and the shield.

Well Done.
