Hi everyone, new here just getting back in to 40k after many years away.
Coming back into the game I'm planning on creating my own chapter based on an Egyptian theme, I have already ordered some of the Scibor Egyptian parts.
I don't really know what colour scheme to aply though, any ideas?
Thanks

Pre Heresy. I'm sure if you said that this was a pre heresy army, people would be fine.
Though, if you don't like that, which is totally reasonable, it isn't in any current SM codex, only CSM.
So, time to be more serious.
If you wanted to make them look like Egyptian royalty, then blue and gold is a good option. Even though that is The Thousand Sons. White and red? Though too many of those around. Gold and white? I think that could work if you balance the colours out well. I wonder how red and gold would work out...

Sorry to say but I feel like the best way to do this would to go T-Sons and if you really wanted to spice it up, you could use the WHFB warsphinx as a Forgefiend
Now if you wanted to go Roman you could easily do that with all the birds and fancy armor that SM come with and to add a little more flair look to cataphracti terminators from Forge World, they are perfect for a roman army with their tassels and armor

Why are you so dead set on this guy doing Thousand Sons? He already said he wasn't interested in doing that.
You act like there's only room for one wolf themed Space Marine Chapter, and one that wears hoodie bathrobes, and one that is themed on being crazy vampires... Oh, wait., people do those kinds of themed armies all the time and nobody bats an eyelash.
Obviously the Thousand Sons captured the market on Blue/Gold, but I think bone and gold could look pretty cool. After all, the blue and gold was just the headpieces for royalty. You could easily do a bleached bone based scheme since the Egyptians were a desert culture.

Can't think of a non-1k sons SM chapter.
You could just make your own.

Thanks for the advice, what would be a good primer if i'm going to do bleached bone?

I very much support the idea of using Bleached Bone with brass accents to make your own, non-Thousand Sons chapter. Make them your own.
