Last week, while considering whether to bid on a large number of Orkz on ebay, I did a price check vs games workshop's website at least 3, if not 5+ times.

At the time, run-of-the-mill Ork Boyz were selling for $48. I thought this was outrageously high, and was happy getting my Ork Boyz at a >50% discount.

I ran the numbers multiple times, I swear I did.

I mentioned these numbers to someone this weekend and they were confused, so we looked at the site... Ork Boyz: $29.

Am I going crazy? Do their prices fluctuate this much for real?

EDIT: Just realized that I had games-workshop.com set for Australia at work. Man, it sucks to be Australia.
EDIT 2: I am not in Australia; I have no idea why that location was set on my box at work.

Someone needs to go to GW HQ and explain the concept of floating exchange rates.

In some cases it's worth paying the little bit extra and buying from Forge World rather than our local prices! $110.00 for a landraider when we can spend $79.85 and get a complete FW one! or $66 for a complete dreadnought with arms when a plastic GW one in shops is $74.00!

It seems to me that Forge World is actually the cheaper choice for Australians. Now THAT is saying something.

You know its funny but its starting to reach that here also there is a variant that fluctuates between 25 cent to $2.50 more for the forgeworld verision oh and you get GWs standard landraider and the upgrade kit.
