Planning on using a pale military green for a Salamander army. Unfortunately, I've found that my preferred colour is rather chalky on application despite thinning and careful application. Any alternatives that people have had success with?

This is the green I want...

The Russian green shouldnt be chalky, but it is very matt in comparison to gw paint. Add a drop of gloss varnish or klear to it if it's bothering you.
Don't forget you can get Russian green primer, too.
