Several people rule differently on this, so I figured I would put a thread here just in case someone has an exact rule book entry as to what happens in this situation or their opinions.

Generally speaking you can only have 1 of a spell in your army; however, with signature spells such as Wyssans Wildform or what not, it's a buff and each wizard can select it. Can you buff say your <insert unit here> 2+ times with the same spell for a cumilative effect from 2+ different wizards?

Yes, if you read the page on spell types you will notice a sentence that says that multiple spells on the same unit are always cumulative.

I thought thats how it worked, thanks, lot of people argue it when I play my bretonnian's/beastmen and I recently destroyed my BRB with jaegermeister so I haven't been able to pull out and argue that's the way it works.

If the spell gives a special rule, this isn't the case as it just becomes a normal special rule.

Doom and darkness is a nice one to stack. Iceshard blizzard is good to (and easier to do) but a Doom and Darkness stack with a panic test will break almost anything.

Well, not really. Its just having the same special rule multiple times doesn't stack.

Having Frenzy twice has the exact same effect as Frenzy once.

I believe the only special rule that stacks is Fights in Extra Ranks, but only because it explicitly states that it stacks.

I.e., you backed up what I said except started it with not really for some reason...

Same end result.

I just felt it should be completely clarified on exactly how it works. So people arn't confused.

Its easier to say "Everything stacks, but because Special Rules don't have effects when had in multiples there is no effect for them getting stacked on. Except for Extra Ranks and Extra attack."

Huh? That's even more confusing. No effect in multiples = doesn't stack. "Everything stacks but spells do not except for..." is a bit convoluted.

I still don't know if the extra attack rule from double frenzy would stack...

It would not, simply because you don't have Extra Attack multiple times. You have Frenzy multiple times. Frenzy twice is still just Frenzy. Stubborn twice is still just Stubborn.

When you apply the rules for Frenzy you satisfy the bonus for both Frenzys. If you have Extra Attack from multiple sources they would stack. Frenzy, XHW, unique special rule, etc...

Ah, I see, good to know. I never knew whether the special rule frenzy (or any other) was one entity as you say or whether one had to look at its "constituents". Thanks a lot.
