I know that using Logan’s ability to give Relentless to Long Fangs is usually a bit of a gimmick, but I’m wondering about running them in together in an all drop pod list so that on turn one the Long Fangs deep strike in and can fire at normal BS first turn. Following that the plan would be to detach Logan and have him join some Termies.

Any thoughts on this as a tactic?

As ideas go, I've certainly heard worse. I presume you're going to kit out the Long Fangs with multi-meltas?

I was going to use 2 multi meltas and 3 Missile launchers (largely because that's what I have the models for at present). Using the long fang split fire, multi melta one target, missile the other. Thought about putting a rune priest in to give prescience but that seems overkill and I suspect I could use him better elsewhere.
