As the title says, I'm working on 2 small armies for my friends and I to play. I don't have exact points atm, just looking at a rough outline of just what I have.

Good Forces:

I have 12 riders of rohan and a rohan captain. I also have various heros, but from what I've read most cost too much for a small game of 500 points. I have the Fellowship, battle at weathertop, and Return of the king heros.

Evil Forces:

I have probably 18 or so uruk hai with pikes and shields, with 6 berserkers on the way.

10 easterlings with captain

I have the 5 ring wraiths from the Attack at Weathertop set.

I am looking at around 500 points for eash side.I don't need point values, just an idea of more good troops to fight alongside my Riders of Rohan.

I would prefer not to have to buy another codex, so anything from the kingdoms of men.

You could do a Rohirrim army with just calavry, swift and clean
And what fits better than a uruk-hai army with pikes, crossbows and berserkers

Crossbows! THATS what I need! I love the Riders of Rohan, but I HATE painting 2 models. Mini + horse.

Uruks are pretty much a solid force. You don't need much else, unless you want chariots - Khand suits well. They're in the same book, so all is good.

Crossbow guys should be available from many stores and discounters since they're finecast.

Only two armies have crossbows - Corsairs of Umbar and Isengard.

And the crossbows are east to hit as well aren't they? like 5+ or something?

Its 4strenght so it proberly kill an elf on 4+
