not official ones, there are metal ones on the GW site, I am sure someone on here might be able to point out some alternative models, if you want to play in GW stores though you will need the GW models.

Rule of cool man. If you paint them well and they are easily discernible as the model they are supposed to be, most people wont question you. And no one plays at official GW tournaments anymore since none of the stores really host events. Most local store tournaments will allow something like this as long as its well done. So yeah Rule of Cool.

If you have the money, I'd go for Death Korps of Krieg models. I've seen it done up as Steel Legion before and they look pretty awesome.
