Loving the model good job. My only tip would be add some wash especially the face and horns look a bit to clean and a wash will really make it pop.

I Like how you made a daemonette of khorne, and its very ironic she has a slaaneshi daemon's head as a shield! Nice touch. I Think the base needs a little bit more attention, it looks like you did some lines and glued some skulls on, maybe more skulls?

@ Demic25:
I am not sure that a wash will add anything to her face, but I do appreciate the comment.

@wolfmerc
The base is painted to match the city themed bases of the rest of my army. As for the number of skulls, it was chosen to be 8, because of the sacred number of Khorne.
In truth, the base is a point of wonder for me, because it does seem a little bare, but I'm not sure that anything more I could put on it will enhance it further from what it currently is. I do appreciate the comment though. Glad you found the irony

I'm not familiar with that character. Is that a GW model?

Nice conversion. Also love the base. Gives a ritualistic feel. =P

It isn't a conversion. I took the model straight from the package, put her on a 40mm base and started painting essentially. She's a legitimate Daemon Princess by her fluff from the book, so no reason to not user her as one in the 41st millenium as a Daemon Princess of Khorne!

I think it will bring a lot more depth to the face and a bit of shadow i f you use a mud wash.

I will have to say if you do anything I'd prolly second the wash, though I understand your hesitance since this model is beautiful and I'd be hesitant for fear of messing it up... But seriously it looks great!

It might, though, as Benamint commented, the model is so well done, I don't want to risk it. I spent several hours on her face because I couldn't get it right, and I don't want to do it again

Thank you very much for the comment Benamint. I am quite proud of her, and I'll gladly put show her off to any who asks. She and Skulltaker now form the center pieces of my army. Very odd that they are both rather respected by Khorne, and that they are both Khorne and as such my best painted miniatures. What's up with that?

Thank you very much! I managed that with a medium purple/pink basecoat, followed with pink, light pink, and white drybrushing over ever smaller areas. I am happy that the "blending" looks so nice.

This is the best assortment of pieces actually. The first one I got was missing her chin! I emailed GW and they sent a replacement. Both spears were droopy, so what can you do? At least she looks good and I say no one can claim the cast detracts from the marvelous paint job
