Okay, as noted in another thread, I just bought the Space Marine Battleforce. I've noticed I'm missing quite a few sprues... I know for a fact I'm missing the jump pack sprue for the 5 assault marines, but I am also missing 2 arm sprues (to give the tac marine squad all ten bolters), and I believe I'm missing one more for the combat squad. My question is, is the Battleforce supposed to come with special Assault Squad weapons (aka Power Weapons) and is it supposed to come with Sniper Rifles for the Scout Squad and the sprue those rifles are attached to?

You should have all the sprues that would have been included if you'd bought the contents separately.

If you're missing bits, contact GW and they should organise replacements with the minimum of hassle.

The sniper scouts are a different set though, so you're not missing them.

Okay, thanks for the info about the sniper scouts. But, I have 3 or 4 basic assault squad sprues, without any jump packs, and the only bolters I have are for the scout squad. I have no Tactical Squad bolter/arm sprues and no Combat Squad bolter/arm sprue. I just want to confirm which other sprues I am or am not missing.

Hold on, let me get a full list of the sprues that I have...

All three Rhino Sprues
1 Tactical Squad Special Weapons Sprue
4 Assault Squad assembly sprues (weapons, torsos, and normal backpacks, plus helmets) (8 sprues total: 4 weapon sprues, 4 torso/head sprues)
1 Scout Squad Sprue (2 sprues total: 1 weapons, 1 assembly)

Confirmed Missing:
1 Assault Squad Jump Pack Sprue
2 Tactical Arm/Bolter Sprues

You don't have 4 assault squad sprues, two of those are tact squad marines.

Ass marines have the option of assembly without JPs, hence the normal back packs.

JPs are on a separate sprue, with some of the PWs if IRC.

I can't be hugely more precise I'm afraid as the kits have been recut over time and I can't remember what the current config is.

But by the sounds of it you've misidentified some sprues and that's been compounded by a mispack.

If you've really got all ASM sprues then you've got a great deal as you can still ask for the correct replacements and will likely get to keep what you've got.

I know the JPs are on a seperate sprue, so I know I'm missing that. Also, each of the actual non-Scout space marine sprues comes with only ASM weapons attached to it, complete with ASM legs. No Tac squad legs and no tac squad arms or bolters. So... Yeah. The only actual tac squad weapons I have is the Special Weapons sprue.

Also, I'm not sure what is supposed to come in the Combat Squad kit, which is included in the Battleforce as well, but I'm fairly certain they need a tactical squad arm sprue to get their five bolters as well.

The sprues with the Normal backpacks on them are standard between both Tactical and Assault marine kits, then Assault Marines are meant to come with 2 more sprues, one with the chainswords/bolt pistols and legs, and another with jump packs and replacement torsos that have the jump pack chest harness on them, as well as some power weapons etc.

Tactical marines instead of those 2 sprues, should come with a single extra sprue with legs, bolters, and arms and then the shared special weapon sprue for the tactical squad.

So it sounds like you are missing one of the Assault Marine sprues (with the jump packs / torsos) and got 3 extra Assault Marine leg/weapon sprues instead of Tactical leg/weapon sprues.

I have 3 extra chainsword/bolter sprues, yeah. So, I just gotta call in and tell them, and get it in 3-4 business days. Thanks for the help, Dakkanaughts.
