I Would really like to have my army themed after this Nob Model, I am a Novice painter I'm pretty good with the skills i have. I can paint quite decently with proper instructions. Here is what i would guess on the paints used.
Skin = Codex Gray + Skull white
Armor = Skull white
Cloth = Skull white + Bone for Off white look
Blades and gun = Bolt gun metal + Badab Wash
Mask = What i need help with
Pants = What i need help with

The skin has blue tones to it as well.

That's actually a photoshop. The actual model has regular colours. Or I think it's a photoshop, since the mask and pants look like some sort of red-dark orange and you can see hints of other colours in the pictures. Plus, those paints are outdated (unfortunately), and why would you have white orks anyway? Green is best!

EDIT: Yeah, I opened this picture up and boosted the saturation and he's actually more of a light Nurgling green (new rotten flesh) than he is white.

@ Duenestephe - Why limit yourself to one color for your orks?

I don't, I just like green. Plus, the Orks say it themselves. GREEN IS BEST! Unless you're Death Skulls. Then you're blue, but even them it's paint. Or Blood Axes, but that's still just paint on ork skin. If you're going for Chaos Orks I can see some reds/rotting flesh colours, but always with an undercoating of green.

Well, I approach my orkses based on 2 things -

Primus - Orks is fungus. Fungus (or Fungi) come in many colors. Therefore, Orkses come in many colors.

Secondus - The book Gunheads, from the Black Library, where there are brown, red, and sandy colored orks.

So, me Waaaghhh band is very, very colorful.

Orks are based on a mix of a certain type of fungal strain and animal DNA, and are commonly described as Greenskins. In the games, all the Codices, and most Ork colour artwork features them as green unless they have warpaint. But I'll definitely give Gunheads a read.

I got it while I was overseas - its about the recovery of Yarriks Baneblade.

I like green as well, though I use a mix of greens to denote the racial differences that can be found.

Oh, I have Green Greenskins - and blue, red, brown and so forth.

I think the white ork is pretty awesome.. Green maybe the standard, but what sets armies apart from the rest is the deviation from what is standard..I would like to do a few mobs in white to see how they look also..
