I am in a league at my local store and each month we have been increasing our armies next month we will be using a 1750 pt army for our games. This league also has paint challenges (guy who runs the store was tired of seeing unpainted models or people complaining about not being motivated to paint their models), so if my list seems a little off it is due to meeting the painting challenges. I do have some wiggle room to buy more models and such though so i would appreciate your input and suggestions.

My list as it stands now:

I switch the dreadnought's right arm to either assault cannon or plasma depending on whom i am fighting.

Took me by surprise with the fortress there!

I would look into splitting your tactical into 2x 5-man squad with a lascannon in each so you can make full use of the fortress. Then put the plasma cannon on the dread. At that point scale I would probably swap the Knights for a regular DW squad for more scoring bodies.

Nice looking list! I like the idea of the knights as they are close combat beasts!
Splitting the tactical squad into two combat squads (one pushing up with the plasma gun, the other sitting back with the canon) is a good idea.
