Essentially i need a proxy or alternate for my Iron Warriors. it will be the Centre piece of my 2.5k army and I don't simply want to 'chaosify' a fortress of redemption.

My own real alternative atm is to get the fortress take off majority of the symbols and completely replace the tower.

has anyone got any suggestion for an alternative/proxy or a tall bunker or Tower to replace the Angel Tower

If they're even half decent i would just go with that. that way you could make any dimensions you want, and even use a template to cut out Iron Warriors symbols to go on the walls of the fortress and whatnots.

After that you can just raid your bitz box to add chaos-y stuff to it, and all you need to do after that is add the weapons.

just nab yourself an imperial strongpoint. Some plasticard, foamcore and ingenuity later, you can build pretty much the same thing.

I've seen where someone replaced the Angel Tower with a double height Bastion and it worked out just fine. The Bastion has the same footptrint as the tower.
