NEW ARMY TIME!!!

Well, sort of. I travel a lot with work, and I've been meaning to get together a small, quick, portable army for ages. Something like a Deathwing would be perfect. I already have a very old and hardly ever used White Scars army, which contains LOADS of old metal terminators. One day, I'll give the White Scars an update, but when that happens I'll theme it properly, and there won't be any terminators. So, I've decided to use the old metal terminator section into my super-quick Deathwing army!

I haven't decided on a name yet, but I like the idea of making up a successor chapter. Here's my planned colour scheme.

And here's the models I'll be using, in their very thick old colour scheme.

I bought some DA bits to customise them a bit further (and make some Knights), and dug out any spare terminator parts I had lying around.

And the point of no return - all the bases taken off, the arms broken off, and plastic bits discarded - they're ready for a bath of Nitro-Mors!

I would suggest switching the colours round so that the Crux Terminatus is on the bone half. I think the stone colour of the Crux will stand out better on bone than on white.

How will you make sure the bone and white stand out from each other? I stole this guy's bone recipe and find it works really well. I think it would contrast well with a grey-white or a blue-white.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.
