Does anyone have any Idea when all the hobbit models are going to get war of the ring stats. If they ever do.

Since WotR was an utter failure, I doubt they will get them, although with GW maybe they will do it as a compiled set in a direct only sale similar to the 40k flier rules recently released.

Yeah I doubt they will even bother because they've basically discarded War of the Ring completely now, which is annoying considering how much attention it got over the Strategy Battle Game for a couple of years.

Yet that attention was misplaced. The song is far cleaner, or rather was. WotR could have been great but failed to have clear rules for competitive at which everyone wanted then

Is this the end for WOTR? I will miss it if so. I enjoy playing this game greatly. If it passes, my friends and I will play on with the latest published rules I am sure.

Will The Hobbit publish mass battle rules? If it does, will those be the de facto update to WOTR? If the rules end up being similar and all the WOTR models are covered then I expect this is the way it will go down.

That's pure speculation on my part, though.

It's been dead for a while around here at any rate. They pretty much switched their focus from WOTR to SBG (Which I'm personally quite glad of, but apples and oranges wot.) hence all the LOTR 'codexes' and the like. Hell, The Hobbit has always struck me more suited to SBG anyways.
