I originally set up this list with a Stormtalon, but I adjusted it with a Stormraven instead. It did pretty well against
CSM until the Helldrake started roasting all of my power armour models, hence the upgrade to the Stormraven as I think it'll have a better chance of popping the Helldrake(s) in 1 round.
Keep in mind that this is still supposed to be a
TAC list, not an anti-
CSM list. Let me know what you think:
SM PRIMARY DETACHMENT:

Tacticals (x10),
BP/chainsword sgt, flamer, heavy bolter, rhino, 190pts
HEAVY SUPPORT:
Devastators (x5), 4x missile launchers, 140pts
Aegis Defence Line, quad gun, 100pts
TOTAL: 2000pts on the dot
Tactics:
DW assault the Knights + Libby on turn 1 followed by Lysander + sterns in pod for turn 1 shreddage, and turn 2 assault with the Knights. The librarian can cast Prescience on his own squad although I might still roll on the Divination chart to see if I can get Misfortune. Once the Sterns are dead Lysander can join the Knights or take on a whole army on his own (he's done it before!!!
The sterns can also be used as an anti-vehicle squad if there are some high
AV vehicles to deal with, otherwise the Devastators and Stormraven will deal with that.
One squad of scouts for objective camping in a reinforced ruin (I can reinforce 2 ruins) and if needed a second squad infiltrating to bring the Knights in with the homer. The tacticals will move forward to support the elites and midfield objectives, one squad as dedicated anti-horde, the other for anti-elite/heavy infantry. I actually find the stock sergeant very useful: no vet upgrades mean they stand a better chance of breaking in enemy shooting phase or
CC for an extra chance of shooting, also the
BP/chainsword gives a slight boost in
CC against basic infantry (I will keep them away from heavy infantry and elites).
The
TFC will deal with hordes and any infantry really (killed a squad of Havocs in one round in my last game) and will probably stay tucked in a reinforced ruin corner with good line of sight and range. The devastators will man the
ADL and deal with armor and fliers, alternately I can stick them in a ruin and have the scouts on the quad gun too.
