Hi guys. Ive got the age old dilema between red and blue. And no... Im not talking about halo. I ofcourse am struggling with choosing my mono god.

I currently have 40 woc with hand wepons and shields from the good old days of mortals of chaos
A spawn
A couole of characters
A mix of 40 sort of marauder mutants (basicly consisting of beastmen)

And im not worried about any of that as im looking to make the army only using the warriora :-)

My Tzeentch would include:
40 woc with shields
A Vortex BEAST
20 chosen with halbs (modeled from forsaken)
A sorcerer (using the vilitch model)
A bsb.
To make it 2.5k i would add a shrine and the 40 marauder-gors

For Khorne o would use.
40woc with either halbs or ahw
A slaughterbrute
Some jugs
Lord
Bsb
And for 2.5k... Maybe a gorebeast chariot and a shrine... Perhaossome hounds :-)

But im thinking play style. I have okayed Ogres since they 1st came out many moons ago and have semi retired them
. I have a nurgle demon army which i mainly use in 40k but am tryi g to 0lay in whb more. And im currently painting uo and all comers empire army...

I just dont want to get bored of the army and would love your ideas and opinions :-)

Well since you are going mono-god, you may want to choose Tzneetch, for the purposes of including magic. Tzneetch is personally my favorite, and though the magic is not the greatest(like it should be) it is still good. And the Lore of Metal will serve you well I think, especially with taking out enemy armour.

Khorne is of course always a good choice, excellent in combat and can really grind down enemies. Also has some really good character and Hero choices. But I still think Tzneetch would be best.

You can buff all your units to have even better armour saves and use the unkillable Tzneeth Sorcerer on Disk. Also WoC are pretty good in combat to begin with, so balancing that with some really good armour is probably best.

Oh also the list looks good, but I dont like taking Chosen. They are more expensive Warriors for not many more benefits, and the points can be used elsewhere.

Thankyou for the detailed response. I onow im not overly enthused by chosen... But what would you recomend instead? I did treally want to use the foraaken models but the forsaken are not great...

Hmm well, using the models you have you may as well stay with Chosen. But when not using them, I would reccomend Gorebeast Chariots, Chaos Ogres, or Knights.

The Chariots are really good in defence and can also pack a huge punch in combat. The Chaos Ogres are also really good in combat of course, they are Ogres and work well as a flank guard or a frontal assault unit. The Knights are very good, but can get rather expensive. However though their price may be high, they are worth every point. And they are reasonably proced for what you get. Finally, Chimrae are good, a flying regen monster will see to it that things are taken down. I would suggest them in higher point lists though, as they will be the focus of much attack, and you will want more bodies in the battle.

Well ive just posted a list up on the whfb lists for 2k. I dropped the chosen. (i mainly liked them for chosen of tzeentch all mutated) and switched them for 6 chaos ogres... And it seemed my math was off anyway. Now my lord is 425ish points... Is he too expensive? I feel like i should squeeze something else in there...

Alright well I will head over there. I know what you mean though about the Chosen and such. But 425pts os quite steep. Make sure you have a well suited Sorcerer. And 6 Ogres is a good solid unit. I will go over to see the list.
