So I have found Slaanesh warm embrace and love.
I really love the rules for fiends but dont like the models at all so im going to convert my own, you could give me some ideas im thinkin something in the line with mermaids or nagas or half spiders and half "humans"
but anyways my real question is. Has anyone tried them? how many units should be optimal if any? and how many models per unit?

I think the best use of them whould be a small unit of 3 (105p).
Keeping them small might help them survive longer if the opponent dont see them as a threat.
The whole reason to include them in your army is that the deamons lack frag grenades.
If you can make a combined charge (in cover) with 3 Fiends and maybe some Seekers will let you hit first.
The Fiend special thing reduces the enemys initiative by 5 (not to a minimum of 1) so they can get 0 initiative.
When assaulting in cover you get your initiative reuced to 1. So you will strike first with your Seekers.
Also, if you assault first with the Fiends they can soak up some overwatch fire that would hurt the Seekers more.
So basicly its frag grenades for 105p...

Couldnt they be good in synergy with the spells that take wounds dependent on leadership? And they are not entirely useless in CC either so i would say they are more than just granades

Take the spiders from goblin spider rider's from the fantasy line, and add the torso of a daemonette to make a drider (half-woman, half spider)
ANd fiends work well, to absorb overwatch, but they are not as killy as they once were, they work for reducing enemy initiative, and letting daemonettess charge without getting shot at.

I dig the drow-esque look of those custom fiends.
Nice. I don't mind the default model -- but I do mind coughing up the money to buy them.

This works even better when you have tourneys that rule that having an I of 0 means you cannot attack in the assault phase
Suddenly fiends are amazing tarpit units!

According to the adepticon FAQ fiends also add their -1 Ld per model which would be awsome if it got official but it isnt something worth overloading fiends on like people did with flamers and screamers
