Hello, I have a quick question regarding markerlights.

Is there any limit to how many times you can up a unit's BS using markerlights?, as far as I can tell there is not, so I could potentially use say 5 markerlights on firewarriors and have BS8 warriors?

Cheers

Not any more, no. The entry to Markerlights lists the BS increase as "1+" markerlights (it used to be "only once").

Of course, you need a lot of markerlights for that, and BS8 isn't statistically much better than BS5. You could use the extra 3 points to negate the target's cover save.

Unless its a dire situation i would never put the BS that high. Dire as in "if i dont blow this thing up now im in deep trouble" like a Landraider is still unscathed and 1 turn away from assaulting something important so i need to improve my Hammerhead's BS to guarantee i hit the dang thing (and hope i get luck on the pen)

But yes, the restriction to higher than BS5 is not there anymore.

I play daemons quite often so sometimes more beneficial to me to crank my bs up as they have there invuln to negate cover. Thanks for answering the question
