I'm torn here. On the 1 hand you have a permanent ++4 on the other you gain a slot and save up to 13 points.
The latter can end up more expensive though. Any thoughts?

Shield drones are kinda pointless now IMO. All drones are the same cost and only 1 doesn't shoot. My problem with them is that in order you have to have a specific circumstance to make them useful. Having an IC character up front and tanking wounds with a 3+ or 2+ armor save, except for S8+ hits which get LOS over to the drones, and any would work just as good for that.

I don't even recommend the shield generator really. I find it to be a bit excessive for a unit that can get into cover so easily as jetpack units. The Stimulant Injectors are probably a better buy in that regard.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."
