So here are a few more Porkoids. The Merchant who is my favorite! he has some Kromlech fatty parts with a backpack and lots of gear on his pack.

I also just recieved my Tyson Koch 3D dungeon boards from his Kickstarter he ran. I am super impressed with them. You can check out his site here: http://www.figurepainters.com/

I will be washing and building the boards this weekend prepping them for painting and then I need to figure out a paintscheme.

Here are the porkoids!

Porkoid Deathknight:

Porkoid Druid:

Porkoid Shaman: (I tried to do some realistic tribal tattoos)

Here is a batch of VON DRAKK stuff from this weekend!

Boneheads:

Dread Knights:

Rattlebones:

Skullbats:

Van Wilder:

And some custom skeles:
Bone Archer:

Bone Ninja:

I want to pick up another box of Von Drakk, but I don't need doubles of all the guys, so I might be interested in trading/selling some heroes/monsters. I was hoping they release some troopbuilder boxes for Von Drakk, but I really want another Werewolf, Spider and all of the skeles.

Also, Something else I have been working on:

A little castle fort! I was going to make it 'generic' and then cast it so I could then make baddie forts or hero forts. maybe a 'SUPER SPAWN'.

Dig this thread, I love me some chibi! The castle fort is perfect the way the towers get bigger toward the top, captures the feel of the range, nice work.

This is really great stuff. I have been meaning to pick up SDE as I have never played it. This makes me want to oh so much more! are there rules for a "super spawn"? The castle is very cool!!

Not that this is the place for it, but feel free to PM or reply here with any tips on getting into SDE without breaking the bank!

also, REALLY excited to see what you do with the 3d dungeon. I have only seen the one displayed on the kickstarter, but its hella-impressive.

Well, Porkoids, I can't cast. They are GW boar heads + GW Savage orc plastics.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/WARHAMMER-BIN-BITS-ORC-BOAR-BOYZ-5x-BOAR-HEADS-/360673189956?pt=Games_US&hash=item53f9cc2044

Basically Take a stock Savage orc, then cut the neck-stump off. Then cut the 'peg' off the boar head. The attach the boar head to the neck stump and then fill in the join with GS and tease it to look like fur.

Past that, I made hooves by putting a GS blob on the foot and putting a split in it.

If you want 3-fingered hoof-hands, you just join 2 of the fingers with glue/GS and then put an oversized 'nail' on the tips and you have a 3-fingered hoof-hand.

The tails are just plastirod with GS on them.

I figure for the cost of a GW box of 10 savage orcs, and 2 sets of Orc Boar heads, you are not out more than 35ish dollars for 10 models.

I am going to make more orc/goblin heads and try to cast those as well as the 'fort'.

I did cast the Orc heads, but the ears and teeth came out bubbly so I had to do clean-up on them. But I got a solid 10 or so heads out of it.

If I was gonna sell them, I might take another crack at sculpting and do the teeth more mold friendly and do some vent pipes for the ears.

I actually sculpted some rats and other vermin, and after casting, the rats and snakes turned out super. The bats needed lots of post-casting clean up but good enough for one unit.

So I will post some pics of the Orc heads that I cast up.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
That fort is also a cast. I sent the original to Impact miniatures to see if they can produce it. My mold was one piece so it took about 15$ in resin to cast just one fort.

If the fort can't be made into a kit, then I might "on demand" a few more for people who want it.

Slow week, ran out of brown which apparently brought all my painting to a halt. Here is an FYI: There is a guy on ebay who appears to own a store. Every once in a while he sells 'damaged' boxes for games. Like A box got crushed, or torn open or whatever. I got Roxor for 14 bucks because of it. I have seen SDE items pop up like that before, so it is worth keeping an eye out for.

Here is some Fireflow!

I tried to make the high parts 'darker' and they turned out 'ok'. I have 2 more sets of fireflow, so I plan to make a set of 3 GHOST WOLVES in a spectral green color, A set of WATER GELs and POISON GELs. Possibly a Wood Beetle and a Sand Beetle. Rotgut 2 is becoming a stone troll with the fire converted to grass, and I will probably add some moss and such to him. No Clue what to do with more Rocktops or a second Roxor, so if you want some Rocktops, let me know. I really hate how the fire wolves fall over and have thought about making a 25x50mm base for them. Has anyone considered changing their base at all?

Here is the attempt at bats... they didn't cast well but I salvaged them enough to get a batch out of them.

I got a Death Specter and Birdwoman on my painting table now, so when I get some brown I can start back up!
