Are these your first painted miniatures? I have to say they are really nice looking. I love the colors you picked. I have some DKoK that need painting and I may have to try and copy yours. Do you mind sharing what paints you used?

I love the muted and 'realistic' look of this army. I do think that the odd bright flash of colour would make it even better. Just some subtle bits, like the plasma coils.

No, I do dabble in fantasy as well

I used my own blend of blackish (I do not like the ¨black-black¨ as it is unnaturally dark) for the coats and several different shades of brown for the rest. For the metal I used a variety of Goblin Green as I tock inspiration from mass-produced Garden tools and heavy machinery where the paint is used as a primer and also as a protection against rust and oxidation.

My camera skills are average at best and they do look somewhat darker then they really are. But I do understand your point and I will give it thought, thanks for the tip

So after a loooong miniature pause (work, work, work!) I went back to my old Korps. So gona start up this blog again (hopefully I will finish it this time

Started to paint up some of the grey Korpsies and basing the perviously painted

Another pic (few extra dudes in this one)

And since I finished painting all the Korps that were to be found in my drawers I went on a online shopping-trip

Have already started building on some heavy weapons team and hopefully will have them finished by the end of the week (Want to se just finished models or build process)?

So the building progresses, a few heavy weapon teams have been built and once they are painted I will have one completed (painted) platoon (soon a playable army).

They are all originally the running type of teams (se right) and I am not to fond of that stance (I figured out once In had already ordered them ) but some kit bashing fixed that

I end up with this issue on 95% of the Korps I build, it is an easy fix but kinda lame since it affects so many

Well of to priming and paint.

Great stuff here. I wish my minis looked this good. Really like the idea of magnetizing the artillery crew too.

Thanks for the feedback gona keep posting. Had time for some painting before the days end (such speed).

Went by a different strategy this time, painting the bases first, maybe it will be my new standard way of painting

This is where I stop tonight, hopefully family and work will give me time to paint some more tomorrow

So they are starting to come together, just throw on some decals, weathering and few details and they are done (now they look kinda cartoonish)

On to the next platoon!

Thanks, I am thinking of how to build the load-out on my Russ, as I am not well reversed in the art of 40k the decision is difficult (there are simply to many to choose from). Should mention that in the end I hope to use around three Russ in the army.

Continued today with building auto-cannon teams

When I came to this dude I noticed something strange, could not figure out what it was first but something really bothered me

Lets take a closer look

The hand is the wrong way, this is a right hand and not a left (as it should be)

All the auto-cannon teams of this type suffer from the same defect.... Well have to call FW tomorrow, pay that kinda money and geting a defect as bad as that I will not tolerate

On another note, you on dakka sure are a quiet bunch
